2010 marks the 23rd Anniversary of Booksin Walkathons. With the creation of the School District’s “Furlough” Oct 4-8, we needed a new date for our critical fundraiser: 23. The Anniversary. The Prime Number. 10-23-10 … the POWER IN NUMBERS!

Numbers are all around us … the simple power of addition, the strength of multiplication tables, the elegance of fractions, and the treasures of primes. This year, our Kindergartners will discover the shapes and meanings of numbers, 2nd Graders will master their times tables, 4th Graders will march through “mental math” equations, and 5th Graders will decipher the secrets of science, and even music. … And adults will see the impact of working together, adding up to raise money and support the great programs at Booksin School.

Join us October 23 to prove the power in our numbers … featuring Food, Fun, awesome Music, Family Activities, Teacher Time, Market Place, Auction and much, much more! … We’re counting on your help!
